Offered for sale is this extremely low mileage, limited edition 50th Anniversary Yamaha YZF R6. Finished in the famous “Speed Block” Yellow and Black colour scheme, this R6 presents very well and remains in excellent condition. All electronics and switchgear operate without fault, and there are no dents or scuffs to the tank.

First registered on the 10th November 2006, this R6 has covered negligible miles over 17 years and has evidently been well looked after.  All perishable items such as tyres and brakes show minimal wear, and this example is ready to be used and enjoyed with worry-free riding.

Accompanying the history file are all handbooks and owners' wallets, two keys plus the red master key. It is HPI clear with certificate available upon request.

In 2006, The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer released the Yamaha YZF-R6 50th Anniversary, a middleweight motorcycle that celebrated its 50th anniversary in the motorsports business, loaded with Yamaha-exclusive innovations and new technologies that made it the most advanced production motorcycle ever built at the time.

The engine featured new titanium valves and a red line at 17,500 rpm and was controlled by the first fly-by-wire system on a production motorcycle, all fitted in a MotoGP-derived chassis with Formula 1-styled aerodynamics complemented by a titanium exhaust system.

This R6 is a real head turner, with its unique livery and supersport heritage. With BN6’s now no longer in production, surely collectors will turn to those limited-run and low mileage examples of the iconic YZF-R6 - this 50th anniversary will not disappoint.
